Yubico has partnered with Solvatten, a social enterprise, to provide clean water to individuals in developing countries. Since 2022, the company has donated solar water-cleaning units, resulting in the provision of 3.6 million litres of clean, warm, and sustainable water to 430 individuals. Yubico has established the Secure It Forward program to provide security keys to individuals and non-profit organisations that are often under-resourced and at risk of having their digital security compromised. Since launching in 2021, the program has donated over 65,000 keys to nonprofits and advocacy groups in over 20 countries. The program’s goals include:

As part of the Secure It Forward program, Yubico collaborates with Google, Microsoft, and Cloudflare to offer a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
